Job Summary

At DOCS Dermatology, we are seeking a skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely transcription services to support our medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe medical recordings with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of transcription projects.
  • Format and notate transcriptions according to specific client requirements.
  • Fax completed reports to the appropriate provider.

Requirements
  • Excellent typing skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous transcription experience preferred.

Working Conditions
  • Work in a comfortable and quiet environment with minimal distractions.
  • Use a computer and software to complete transcription tasks.
