Dishware Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishware Specialist to join our team at The Fennec. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dining areas.

• Separate and clean all wares used in the cafe, using correct handling procedures in washing.
• Scrape all pans and pre-wash before putting into the washing machine (if there is no machine, wash pots by hand using prescribed amounts of soap and disinfectant).
• Operate a dish machine and pot-washing machines (when trained to do so).
• Ensure the complete satisfaction of each and every guest, through clean plate/silver/glass wares.
• Ensure that all levels for sanitizer on dish machine and pot sinks are at specific requirements for health standards.
• Keep utensil rack, dish storage area, mop room, banquet area, dish closets, and trash cans clean and organized.
• Air dry all wares before storing.
• Dish team may also help keep storage areas clean.
• Take out trash to the dumpsters.
