Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockrooms, and public areas
  • Support the sales floor team with merchandise recovery, restocking, and visual merchandising
  • Assist with checkout processes, including cash handling and customer transactions
  • Engage with customers to promote our rewards program, private label credit cards, and other loyalty programs
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes
