Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Lead

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist Lead to join our Diagnostic Radiology team at Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, OK.

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist Lead will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients by operating ultrasound equipment, performing a wide range of technical procedures, and assuming responsibility for patients in the area. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of technical procedures, including 2D, pulsed wave Doppler, and color flow Doppler evaluations.
  • Assume responsibility for patients in the area, including reviewing patient requisitions, prioritizing patient lists, and maintaining patient logbooks.
  • Develop film by automatic processing and manipulate laser printers and processors to obtain high-quality images.
  • Perform daily quality control checks on processors and generate monthly reports of results.
  • Responsible for procurement, storage, and routing of supplies for room preparation.
  • Provide instruction and technical assistance to US technologists concerning the operation of equipment.
  • Coordinate and monitor compliance with ACR/ICAVL accreditations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current RDMS or RDCS certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
  • 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Current CRP certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Verbal).
Work Environment:

The Ultrasound Technologist Lead will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and emergency call-backs. The position requires standing or walking for most of the time, with occasional physical efforts to move portable ultrasound equipment and handle patients weighing over 200 lbs.
