As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accepting, loading, unloading, and sorting donations at our 5 donation trailer sites in Summit County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept and process donations from the public, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for donors.
  • Load and unload donations from the trailer, sorting items into categories and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of donations, including quantities and types of items received.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to Goodwillakron's safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote the development of service participants and support the mission of Goodwillakron.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with donation processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (fuel allowance provided during winter months).

Work Schedule:

This is a flexible, entry-level position that requires working weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. We offer a quick and easy application process, and we look forward to meeting qualified candidates.
