Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to fill the role of Emergency Services Manager in Plano, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the emergency department (ED)
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate ongoing emergency services programs to uphold quality patient care aligned with the hospital's mission
  • Lead and mentor emergency department staff, including nurses, physicians, and support personnel
  • Provide educational opportunities and training programs for emergency department staff to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
  • Develops, prioritizes, and justifies requests for capital equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred
  • An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas is mandatory
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency care, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required
  • Completion of national certification from the American Nurses Association (ANA) or a professional organization post-hire
