Job Summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to employees to help them achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance.
  • Manpower Planning: Plan and schedule manpower, materials, product, and machines to optimize departmental policies and procedures.
  • Employee Performance Management: Manage employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback to ensure high standards are met.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Promote department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication and employee involvement.
  • Quality and Safety: Investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, and provide suggestions to improve overall performance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote safety throughout the area where the crew is working, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 or more years of previous supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
