Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Martin's Super Markets. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and fill prescription requests efficiently and accurately, while providing excellent customer service.
  • Dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate retrieval, counting, and packaging of products.
  • Provide medication counseling and advice to customers on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including use, dosage, and potential side effects.
  • Order, stock, and maintain inventory of prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.
  • Lead and oversee pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and accurate service is provided.
  • Communicate with the Pharmacy Manager on any concerns or issues related to patient care or medication dispensing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field required; Doctorate degree in Pharmacy preferred.
  • Three years of experience in a pharmaceutical department.
  • Pharmacy License in good standing required in the state of operation.
  • Immunization Certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, pharmacy laws, and guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
