Job Summary

The Event Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the sales department at Dave & Buster's. This position is responsible for executing administrative tasks, confirming event details, and participating in the sales process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to analyze data, and have strong organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the needs of each Special Events Guest are met by communicating requests to the host and updating contracts accordingly.
  • Take RFPs and calls for social events, converting them to closed 'won' business.
  • Conduct site tours as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and prompt distribution of all paperwork for 'pop up parties' working through the management team to ensure they are staffed to support.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-up on calls/emails/tasks with Event Host after the sale is 'closed won', communicating to Operations any changes to BEOs or updated signed contracts.
  • Follow up on ARs, collect payment information, and close out any remaining balances.
  • Submit check requests/invoices as needed.
  • Ensure Operations has the most up-to-date BEO for each event.
  • Offer 'upsell' opportunities to Event Hosts after the sale is 'closed won'.
Requirements
  • Friendly and demonstrates a 'You Got It' attitude.
  • Good decision-making skills and effective communication with guests, Sales Team, and Management Team.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong verbal skills.
  • Ability to analyze basic data to help Operations and the Sales Team with decision making.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English.
What We Offer

As an Event Coordinator at Dave & Buster's, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $18 - $21 and are an equal opportunity employer participating in E-Verify in states where required.
