OVERVIEW: Patricio Enterprises, Inc. is in search of Theater Operations Analysts stationed in Kuwait to provide support to the Product Manager for Aerostats, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate theater-sponsored meetings and manage operational data, including incident reports, site configurations, and field directives, while recommending solutions to enhance operations and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Engage with PD Aerostats through daily communications to discuss combat posture, system activities, site configurations, and any new directives or policies, providing insights to meet U.S. Forces' needs.
- Assist military and governmental units in preparing necessary documentation for acquiring materials and resources essential for site readiness and crew support.
- Coordinate arrangements for government housing and meals for incoming and outgoing PD Aerostats crews in accordance with Army Field Support Brigade procedures.
- Support the transportation logistics of PD Aerostats systems and personnel at airfields, including temporary storage solutions when necessary.
- Collaborate with host nation entities to facilitate the use of local resources to support PD Aerostats systems when U.S. assets are unavailable.
- Provide expert guidance to military units and leadership regarding PD Aerostats systems, aiding in the development of operational procedures and fragmentary orders.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- In-depth understanding of aerostat flight requirements, including certifications and parameters (preferred).
- Familiarity with the impact of ISR systems on aerostat operations (preferred).
- Knowledge of operational procedures and reporting tools related to aerostats (preferred).
- Ability to analyze operational data to identify and resolve mission-critical issues affecting support to Warfighters.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a military or civilian operations environment.
- Additional experience in a related field may substitute for educational requirements.
- A Master's degree may replace 3 years of experience if in a relevant field.
- Experience operating aerostats larger than 20 meters in length (preferred).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires the ability to perform sedentary work, including reaching, lifting, and fine motor skills. Occasionally, the role may involve lifting up to 20 lbs. Travel may involve challenging environments with extreme weather conditions.
Compliance with CONUS Replacement Center requirements for deployment in the CENTCOM area of operations is mandatory.
Employees must possess the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, and demonstrate skills in analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 10% international travel by ground and air.
