Job Summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Roll Editor Operator to join our team in a manufacturing environment. As a Roll Editor Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining roll editor machines, ensuring optimal productivity and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet production schedules and programs production sequences for optimal productivity.
  • Operate Roll Editor machine and perform routine checks and maintenance tasks.
  • Load and unload materials from the machine as required and make necessary inventory transactions.
  • Perform tests and checks product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices.
  • Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
  • Adjust set up and process operations accordingly and practice all health and safety procedures.
  • Attend all required safety training and understand and implement the appropriate quality standard procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instruction and regard safety as a core value.
  • Must have strong service and quality focus and be able to actively contribute in a team-based environment.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Must have demonstrated record of flexibility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus.
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
Preferred Requirements
  • 3+ year's previous material handling / manufacturing experience.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in working independently in a safe and timely manner necessary.
  • Be motivated towards productivity, safety, and quality improvements.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledge about ELS Operating Principles preferred.
