Senior Server Engineer

Boss Fight Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Engineer to drive the growth of our mobile game industry. Our team of experts tackles complex scalability challenges with Amazon Web Services, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build high-performance AWS systems that meet the demands of a large and active player base.
  • Write high-quality, testable code that meets the needs of multiple game development teams.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to provide data, tools, and expertise that drive business success.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues in a live game environment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum player satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience developing API services in AWS, with a strong focus on scalability and high uptime requirements.
  • Expertise in scaling services with ECS and EC2, with a deep understanding of Unix operating systems.
  • Strong server-side JavaScript development skills, with experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired but Not Required
  • Game development experience with Unity 3D, with a strong understanding of game development principles.
  • Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform and Docker, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Analytics and data engineering expertise, with the ability to extract insights from large datasets.
