Position Overview: The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - MRI plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position involves operating MRI equipment and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe MRI scanning environment, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to develop and enhance examination protocols tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on MRI techniques and equipment usage.
  • Conduct thorough patient screenings to identify any contraindications for MRI procedures.
  • Administer contrast agents under the supervision of a radiologist, ensuring proper timing and technique.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions, participating in quality control measures.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Advanced ARRT certification in MRI is preferred.
  • Completion of a recognized diagnostic radiologic technology program.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and imaging techniques.

Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and assist patients in various positions.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
