Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI procedures and ensuring that all studies meet the established standards of radiologists, radiation oncologists, and other involved referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and/or assist in performing procedures by following physician orders.
  • Perform all diagnostic MRI and designated procedures, ensuring that all studies meet the established standards of radiologists, radiation oncologists, and other involved referring physicians.
  • Provide appropriate information to patients and families during exams to provide a calming influence throughout the study.
  • Maintain standards on equipment for accrediting by state and/or federal agencies.
  • Ensure that all preventive maintenance occurs as scheduled; provide leadership with information regarding all equipment failures.
  • Take an active first line of research and documentation in providing safety information to radiologists and physicians to clear a patient for MRI testing.
  • Interpret and adjust scan parameters to meet conditions of MRI Conditional Implants and equipment.
  • Participate in call as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (MR) registry.
  • One (1) or more years of MRI experience.
  • Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date.
