Position Overview
This role involves overseeing, coordinating, and engaging in the activities of a diverse engineering or scientific team.

Key Responsibilities
- You will adjust work strategies as needed to meet the established service standards for clients.
- You will propose and substantiate budget allocations for your department.
- You will serve as a consultant to various program sectors and divisions.

Employment Conditions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Must enroll in the direct deposit pay program.
- New hires will be required to successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification process.

Qualifications
- Must possess a current Professional Engineer (PE) license if applying for the 0801 series.
- Your license must be issued in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- A copy of your current license must accompany your application.
- Your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private sector.

Specialized Experience
Experience must demonstrate the following capabilities:
1) Providing expert engineering guidance to effectively manage engineering projects and supervise various engineering tasks related to expeditionary engineering initiatives.
2) Evaluating and advising on the development and execution of Joint and DoD engineering programs with significant implications for future equipment and operational strategies.
3) Adapting standard practices and employing innovative solutions to address a range of engineering challenges.
4) Supporting an engineering management framework by showcasing knowledge in DoD planning, programming, budgeting, and financial processes.
5) Understanding contracting principles and quality assurance as they pertain to assigned projects.

Education Requirements
- Applicants must have completed a professional engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- Alternatively, current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is acceptable.
