Premise Health Systems is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient interviews to determine medical needs and document findings in patient charts.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and weight, as well as assist physicians with patient examinations as needed.
- Review physician orders, lab requests, and follow-up needs with patients, and document services performed on appropriate forms.
- Administer medication, apply dressings, and perform routine laboratory tests as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, including sterilizing equipment and supplies, and restocking inventory as needed.
- Respond to patient inquiries, follow up on lab results, and coordinate referrals as necessary.
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse.
- Current hands-on Certification in Basic Life Support, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may also be required based on contract services.
