Job Summary

As an Inventory Controller at Mass General Brigham, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily stock put away, stock rotation, and replenishment of the stock rooms inventory. You will work closely with customers, vendors, and staff to ensure proper and timely product and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, and issuing supplies.
  • Verify receipts against requests for all areas and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with procurement, storage, and record keeping of supplies, including checking in daily orders from the loading dock.
  • Maintain all files relating to departmental purchases and supply requisitions, including coordinating pending, receiving, returns, and close out files.
  • Acquire and document Return Goods Authorizations from vendors when necessary and package product for return to vendors.
  • Participate in internal department meetings and gather facts, present documentation, or perform other tasks related to the development of procedures or programs relating to inventory.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; Associates/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Six months of direct experience in Inventory Control required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with other staff and outside vendors.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize workloads.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.
Working Conditions

The job involves a large amount of time spent walking and standing, with routine lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
