We are seeking highly qualified candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in Health Economics and Health Policy at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI) at the Geisel School of Medicine. The successful candidates will join a vibrant community of scholars and researchers dedicated to improving population health, reducing disparities, and creating high-performing, sustainable health systems.
About the PositionThe mission of TDI is to accelerate the transformation of U.S. health care and healthcare systems. We are particularly interested in candidates who focus on health policy approaches to addressing structural inefficiency and inequity in the U.S. healthcare delivery system. The successful candidate will be expected to build a robust, extramurally-funded research program, provide research training for graduate students, and teach in classroom settings.
Qualifications- MD, PhD, or equivalent degree with a focus in health economics, health policy, or related fields
- Experience or interest in collaborating with state and federal government payers to design and evaluate demonstration projects to improve health and wellbeing for rural, economically marginalized populations
- Strong research and teaching background, with a track record of publishing in top-tier journals and teaching in classroom settings
TDI, Geisel School of Medicine, and Dartmouth offer a unique opportunity to join a community of scholars and researchers dedicated to improving population health and reducing disparities. We provide a start-up package and access to Dartmouth's research resources, as well as opportunities for collaboration with state and federal government payers. Our faculty members are members of the Ph.D. graduate program in Health Policy and have the opportunity for secondary/adjunct appointments in departments and interdisciplinary programs.

Candidates should not include impact factors in their CV bibliographies. Application review begins on October 30, 2023, and will continue until both positions are filled.
