Farmington Opco LLC is a reputable healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care services. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and in-services regarding patient care and other respiratory-related issues to the facility.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy, with a CRT or RRT license and experience working in long-term care settings. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively with residents, family members, and staff at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory-related services, including testing patients for qualifying clinical needs, gathering information, and submitting it to the facility.
  • Record all pertinent information on respiratory care records and patient charts, including consults, recommendations, and conversations with physicians, staff, and caregivers.
  • Assist the facility in regulatory issues, ensuring that respiratory equipment and supplies are stored appropriately, and relevant documentation is provided.
  • Take care of routine tasks, such as filing and faxing, as necessary.
  • Communicate with facility staff regarding relevant clinical and operational issues related to patient care.
Requirements
  • CRT or RRT license
  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state employed
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Vent Certified (preferred)
  • One year of respiratory therapy experience in a long-term care setting (preferred)
