About This Role

The Acute Dialysis Care Specialist at DAVITA provides critical care to patients in an acute hospital setting, utilizing essential nursing skills and autonomous decision-making. This role requires the assessment and management of critically ill patients across various renal therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergent, lifesaving care during on-call shifts
  • Assess, troubleshoot, and make sound recommendations in stressful situations
  • Deliver dialysis to patients at a particular hospital or group of hospitals
  • Foster a dynamic environment and opportunities for continuous learning
Requirements
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where practicing
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime required due to the nature of the acute treatment provided
  • Ability to travel to multiple hospitals within a given area
  • Experience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situations
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package, which includes a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
