Position Overview


As a vital member of the MRI department, the MRI Imaging Specialist collaborates closely with the MRI Team Leader and the Assistant Manager of Radiology. This role involves the operation and upkeep of MRI equipment to generate precise images for diagnostic evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proficiency in imaging techniques for neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Engage patients throughout the imaging process to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to newly onboarded technologists.

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed an accredited program in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and must obtain MRI certification within the first year of employment.
