About the Ultrasound Tech PRN Role

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech PRN to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound-guided procedures under the supervision of physicians
  • Operate radiology computer systems to schedule exams, track patients, and capture charges
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new employees and students
  • Participate in ongoing training and competencies to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and equipment
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a training program in radiologic technology or vascular technology
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
  • Two years of experience as a full-time ultrasound technologist in a hospital or diagnostic imaging clinic setting (preferred)
