Job Overview

Conagra Brands is seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our operations. This role involves working at our manufacturing facility, where you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. Your primary focus will be on managing the maintenance department, overseeing production lines, and ensuring the optimal functioning of all associated equipment. You will be responsible for upholding the preventative maintenance system and striving to surpass safety and uptime objectives while effectively managing maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the activities of personnel involved in the upkeep and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Track downtime incidents and production line efficiencies, with a keen eye on maintenance and mechanical patterns to promote continuous improvement.
  • Identify and eliminate failure causes to ensure the longevity of equipment through daily maintenance performed by operational staff.
  • Guide, inspire, assess, and manage team members to adhere to safe and quality work practices.
  • Implement the facility's safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Take full responsibility for predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, including oil and vibration analysis, engine-compressor assessments, and infrared thermography.
  • Assist in evaluating maintenance activities and frequencies to optimize workforce and resource utilization, enhancing equipment reliability.
  • Ensure equipment operates efficiently within the maintenance budget while adhering to union agreements and regulatory standards.
    • Interpret safety guidelines, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals effectively.
