Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with patient care and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with patient care, including verifying medication information and preparing prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
