Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one support to students with ASD and other developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress towards individualized goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans
- Provide support during academic instruction and help students generalize skills across various settings
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
