Job Description

Postpartum Wellness Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Social Work Supervisee to join our team. As a Social Work Supervisee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience while working under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic services to pregnant and postpartum women throughout Virginia and/or Maryland
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker to develop and refine clinical skills
  • Participate in monthly case consultation and quarterly staff meetings
  • Complete a minimum of 1,500 hours of clinical experience and 100 weeks of part-time experience

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work from an approved program
  • Commitment to Postpartum Wellness Foundation's mission, vision, values, and programs
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work

Benefits:

  • Monthly living stipend of $500
  • Additional hourly stipend for completing more than 60 clinical hours per month
