Job Title: Home Health Aide

Tarrytown Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to provide personal care and support to our residents. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical and emotional care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor residents throughout the day and assist as needed to maintain proper hygiene and grooming.
  • Assist with the preparation of residents and their belongings for home visits, transfers, or discharges.
  • Document cares rendered in Point Click Care computerized chart.
  • Participate in safety disaster drills and follow established safety and disaster prevention rules.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current Home Health Aide certification.
  • Previous experience serving the dementia or geriatric population preferred.
  • Ability to work with other staff members, residents, visitors, and the general public.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
