We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at MediLodge of Traverse City. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervising clinical staff members.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide nursing care for residents, ensuring their needs are met and documented accurately.
- Supervise and direct junior staff members and CNAs, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Administer medications and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting all actions as required.
- Ensure supplies are utilized economically and equipment is maintained in a safe manner.
- Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
- Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
- Interview applicants and recommend hires, participate in counseling and disciplinary action as needed.
- Supervise the nursing unit, scheduling and directing staff as required.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
- Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
- One year experience in nursing preferred.
At MediLodge of Traverse City, we offer a competitive compensation package, including leading market wages starting at $30.20-$39.59 per hour, plus a $3.20/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive and a $5.00/hr weekend warrior program. We also offer flexible pay options, company-paid vacation days, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K retirement program.
