Job Summary

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Pleasanton, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or field to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform emergency and scheduled repairs of equipment, including inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery, including diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance requirements on equipment and machinery.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Assist in training and mentoring maintenance technician trainees.
Requirements
  • Less than High School Education
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • 2-4 years of work experience
  • Relevant experience as a maintenance technician in the oil and gas industry
  • Class A CDL
  • Current HSE certifications
Physical Requirements
  • Precise hand/eye coordination: Constantly
  • Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Frequently
  • Operation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles: Occasionally
  • Lifting/pushing objects weighing over 50 lbs: Frequently
  • Climbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: Occasionally
