Position Overview:

Integration Innovation, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Coordinator. This position acts as a Security Coordinator within the Security Office, focusing on providing security support and training related to information, physical, personnel, and industrial security programs. The role involves educating and training facility users, visitors, and assigned staff as required by the security education framework. The coordinator is responsible for managing the security of the facility's Open Storage Area using a monitored Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and responding to alarms to assess whether they indicate unauthorized access or are false alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Security Coordinator for the Information Security Program, serving as a subject matter expert on security requirements, advising personnel on technical security matters up to Secret level, and enhancing program conditions to improve mission efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the creation of guidelines and oversee the execution of procedures and policies set by higher authorities.
  • Implement security principles, techniques, and procedures to protect classified information.
  • Interpret relevant U.S. laws and executive orders related to security, ensuring compliance with component, DoD, and installation regulations.
  • Report any suspected security violations and enforce security policies and regulations within the facility.
  • Manage the program for classification, declassification, and downgrading of information, conducting inspections and audits to ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Collect and document information regarding threats to information security and other security breaches.
  • Conduct training sessions to support the headquarters security programs.
  • Process Visit Access Requests (VARs) and verify security clearances to facilitate classified activities.
  • Support the program for the SIPRNET PKI token initiative.
  • Ensure compliance with personnel security standards for access to IT systems and the handling of classified information.
  • Assist in verifying that all personnel have favorable security clearances before accessing information systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of security concepts and practices related to Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Industrial Security.
  • Utilize security knowledge to assist in resolving complex security challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey ideas and instructions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, with an interim secret required to start.
  • Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and opportunities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
