Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management and Leadership: Lead major project management initiatives, safety programs, and maintenance planning for large motor equipment, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Engineering Support and Collaboration: Provide engineering support to maintenance, operations, and production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and technical solutions for recurring design, process, and application challenges.
  • Capital Project Management: Manage and implement capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Reliability and Process Improvement: Support equipment reliability, process improvement, equipment troubleshooting, automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives, driving efficiency and productivity gains.
  • Standard Practices and Capital Projects: Implement standard practices and oversee major capital projects across multiple domestic and international manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in leading and managing electrical projects, including design, installation, and commissioning, with expertise in large AC/DC motors, high voltage systems, 480VAC power distribution, transformers, automation, process control systems, drives, and PLCs.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience supervising craft personnel in the implementation of engineered solutions and maintenance activities.
  • Compliance and Safety: Compliance with Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may be required, with a strong background in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, sub-stations, and relays.
