Job Summary

Sulzer USA Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic - Electro-Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Read job cards to determine job status, work authorization, and estimate. Test electro-mechanical equipment to identify problems and troubleshoot using various methods.
  • Repair and Replacement: Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment, clean and measure for replacement parts. Requisition needed items from the storekeeper, as approved by the supervisor.
  • Quality Control: Retest reassembled equipment for proper output and operation. Complete required paperwork accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist other mechanics or shop personnel in skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by the supervisor or shop manager.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to understand and perform various skill-related training and operational procedures
