Pediatric Physical Therapist Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to assess, evaluate, and address the physical needs of students with various conditions.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other professionals to create and implement educational plans that promote student success.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings, as well as during classroom activities and physical education classes.
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and maintain accurate records of therapy activities and communication with families.
- Educate and support teachers, parents, and staff on physical therapy strategies to promote physical health and mobility in the school environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with physical disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy services in educational settings.
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices, particularly as they relate to children with developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, as well as CPR and First Aid certification.
