Position Overview:

As an integral part of our Store Leadership team, the Assistant Store Leader will guide and mentor the store personnel, ensuring that every client enjoys a welcoming and fulfilling experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of team members who are enthusiastic about personal and professional growth.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff to become knowledgeable about our services, ensuring they can effectively communicate the benefits to clients.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service that aligns with VALID8 Financial's mission and values.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and operational issues, leading by example on the sales floor.
  • Focus on achieving performance metrics while prioritizing client satisfaction and applying a holistic approach to service delivery.
  • Address client feedback and concerns, striving to meet their needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on strategies to enhance store performance.
  • Support the Store Manager in managing schedules and payroll effectively.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is well-presented.
  • Ensure the stockroom is organized and adheres to company standards.
  • Uphold operational standards, including inventory management and compliance with safety policies.
  • Open and close the store according to established procedures.
  • Promote diversity and encourage open dialogue among team members.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and team development.
  • Minimum of 3 years in retail leadership or equivalent customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology to engage with clients and team members.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt based on feedback.
  • Ability to manage customer interactions professionally and courteously.
  • Desire to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Availability to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
