Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop, test, and implement innovative engineering solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Design and implement efficient production layouts, workflows, and processes using AutoCAD and other engineering design tools.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain electrical controls systems, including ladder logic and DCS.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Interpret and utilize schematics, technical drawings, and RSLogix for machine maintenance and upgrades.
  • Utilize CMMS for maintenance management and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering design.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical controls, including ladder logic and DCS.
  • Experience with mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in RSLogix and CMMS.
  • Experience with Rockwell software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Must be physically able to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
