Role Responsibilities:
In this position, you will play a vital role in delivering both direct and indirect support for clinical instruction and student assessment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing theoretical knowledge through practical clinical and laboratory applications.
- Collaborating with fellow faculty members to ensure comprehensive evaluation and documentation of student progress.
- Participating in the assessment of written assignments and clinical performance evaluations.
- Maintaining open communication with program faculty and attending essential faculty meetings.
- Staying updated on emerging trends and developments in nursing practice.
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
- Promoting the holistic principles of nursing and the core values of the University.
- Traveling to clinical sites to observe and evaluate student performance directly.
- A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in Critical Care nursing is essential.
- An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Arizona or a compact state is mandatory.
- Prior experience in teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
- Demonstrated involvement in professional organizations, research, or publications is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and clinical preceptors.
