Position Summary: The Ticket Sales Concierge plays a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service by assisting patrons with ticket acquisitions, event details, and general inquiries. This position involves operating ticket scanning systems, addressing questions, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Core Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and assist them with ticket purchases and event-related information.
- Respond to guest inquiries about event schedules, venue specifics, and other pertinent details.
- Maintain a courteous and professional attitude while engaging with guests.
- Keep the work area tidy and organized, following health and safety regulations.
- Provide insights about venue features, policies, and services to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Effectively address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings as necessary.
- Support other guest service tasks as required, such as distributing event materials or directing guests to their seating areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees, volunteers, management, and guests in a clear and respectful manner, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional customer service abilities focused on delivering a positive guest experience.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-focused environment.
- Experience in operating ticketing systems and managing transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in ticket sales, concierge services, or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with ticketing software and systems.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of event schedules and venue information.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour, typically requiring a 35-hour work week.
