Position Summary

The Tax Project Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders across Fidelity as well as external partners. This role is integral to the foundational development of our Fidelity Digital AssetsSM Services Tax capabilities, focusing on designing forms, policies, and procedures. The Project Manager will also identify and spearhead new initiatives that enhance business value. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and executing tax reporting frameworks, managing state withholding remittance and reporting, and facilitating project retrospectives.
  • Formulating policies and procedures for tax documentation and state withholding processes.
  • Coordinating with Fidelity and external partners to ensure precise and comprehensive reporting for clients, while involving business partners in the development process.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred experience in project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with withholding and remittance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tax documentation to clients and remittance to governmental entities.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights on critical business decisions.
  • Skill in simplifying complex topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.
