We are seeking an experienced Consumer Debt Recovery Professional to join our team at Royal Furniture Company. As a key member of our corporate office in East Memphis, you will play a crucial role in our efforts to recover outstanding debts.
Responsibilities:
- Contact debtors by phone to discuss payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances.
- Conduct thorough research to locate debtors who have moved or are avoiding contact.
- Develop and implement effective payment plans to ensure timely repayment.
- Process accounts for legal action when necessary, in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in debt collection or a related field.
- Bilingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse customer base.
- Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant regulations.
- Experience with judicial attachments, repossession, and garnishment proceedings.
- Ability to meet or exceed predetermined goals and targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
