Job Title: Lead MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead MRI Technologist to join our team at the Research Foundation at City College of New York. As a key member of our MRI facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI scanners and providing exceptional support to our researchers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with researchers and other technologists to ensure efficient scheduling of MRI scans
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of MRI equipment, including scheduling repairs and maintenance
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable MRI data
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technologists and researchers on MRI operations and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification for MRI or equivalent
  • Strong technical knowledge of MRI equipment and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
