Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to extend the life of our vehicles.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance and repair techniques, as well as manufacturer recommendations and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
