Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director's main objective is to enhance revenue through increased sales by providing strategic leadership in marketing initiatives. The role also involves overseeing sales management, business development strategies, marketing channel optimization, and enhancing client service.
The Senior Director ensures that the organization's messaging is effectively communicated across various channels to reach targeted audiences and achieve sales goals. This includes exploring innovative methods for message delivery, particularly through digital platforms, community engagement, video content, and social media.
Compensation:$100,000 - $150,000 annually plus performance incentives.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Marketing Development:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives measurable growth.
- Enhance Direct Response Marketing to establish leadership in the Atlanta Metro area and throughout Georgia.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target demographics and understand the legal landscape relevant to our practice areas.
- Create a compelling brand narrative that resonates with the intended audience.
- Oversee daily marketing operations and business development efforts.
- Lead, train, and evaluate a results-driven marketing team.
- Guide attorneys and paralegals in effective business development techniques.
- Design and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital (SEO, PPC, social media), content marketing, traditional media, and community outreach.
- Manage the customization and regular updates of marketing performance dashboards.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and assess ROI.
- Provide bi-weekly updates to the Firm's CEO.
- Participate in the Firm's Leadership Team and engage in regular meetings with the CEO.
Lead Generation Management:
- Oversee the establishment and enhancement of a lead generation system to capture qualified leads.
- Analyze lead generation systems and provide actionable insights to the CEO and/or COO.
- Develop nurturing campaigns aimed at converting leads into clients.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless transitions from lead generation to client acquisition.
Public Relations and Communications:
- Develop and implement a public relations strategy to elevate the firm's reputation and visibility.
- Secure media coverage for the firm's attorneys in local and regional outlets.
- Manage the firm's online presence, including website and social media oversight.
- Oversee communication strategies for the Firm's charitable organization.
- Draft and distribute press releases and other communication materials.
Marketing and Business Development Integration:
- Manage marketing initiatives at the top of the sales funnel.
- Enhance Firm awareness among clients and referral sources.
- Develop and implement effective lead conversion strategies.
Client Intake Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the client intake team, setting performance objectives and sales strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and client conversion rates, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Facilitate effective communication between marketing and client intake teams.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage team dynamics in collaboration with the Firm's leadership.
Staying Current with Marketing Trends:
- Continuously research and adopt new marketing technologies and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend industry conferences and workshops to stay informed on the latest marketing trends.
Budget Oversight:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation across initiatives.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures.
- Demonstrated success in implementing the skills and achieving the results outlined in this description.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in marketing or business (MBA preferred).
- 3-5 years of leadership experience.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or business development within a law firm or related field, with a proven record of contributing to growth.
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles and brand management.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, social media) and content marketing.
- Experience with lead generation and sales processes.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and public relations capabilities.
- Familiarity with data analytics and marketing automation tools.
