We are currently hiring for the role of Server. This position offers flexible hours and competitive pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a restaurant-style dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with dining services.
  • Set dining tables according to established standards.
  • Serve beverages to residents and guests as requested.
  • Review the daily menu with residents to enhance their dining experience.
  • Accurately take and deliver meal orders to residents and guests.
  • Clear used dishes, utensils, and linens from the dining area as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of dining enhancement initiatives.
  • Adhere to food safety practices and quality enhancement standards.
  • Support special events, banquets, and themed meals as needed.
  • Familiarize new residents with dining options, menus, and schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and equipment.
  • Communicate resident preferences to the food service director for improved menu planning.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation among all staff members.
  • Participate in pre-meal meetings with dining and kitchen staff.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Education: Less than High School education.Physical Requirements:
  • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and instruments.
  • Visual and auditory acuity.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and carry objects as needed.
  • Capability to push and pull carts, with continuous walking, sitting, and standing.
  • Flexibility to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend, and reach as tasks require.
  • Good body mechanics for lifting and moving.
  • Proficiency in typing and using a computer.
