Product Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

Natural Essentials, Inc. DBA Bulk Apothecary is a leading provider of premium raw materials, essential oils, and cosmetic products worldwide. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Product Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of documentation and manage prototypes to ensure accuracy and integrity in our manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain detailed documents related to quality control, including non-conforming material reports, deviations, change requests, and various forms.
  • Collect and record product samples for testing and retention, ensuring proper storage and tracking of label inventory.
  • Take water samples for in-house laboratory analysis and conduct finished goods testing for Specific Gravity, pH, and Viscosity.
  • Ensure proper status labeling of all in-process and finished goods, monitoring production processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Comply with safety and quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and perform additional tasks assigned by Management for company improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Documents.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, possessing exceptional attention to detail and awareness of every facet of production.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, effective collaboration skills, and basic mathematical skills, with the ability to read fine print.
  • Proficiency in operating basic office equipment, including phones, copy machines, and fax machines.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods (more than 8 hours a day), working in conditions with minimal exposure to physical risks and moderate exposure to unusual elements.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $18.00/hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package available after 90 days, including paid holidays and paid time off.
