Product Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description: As a Product Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our manufacturing processes' integrity and accuracy. Your responsibilities include reviewing documentation, managing prototypes, conducting tests, and guiding our manufacturing team to produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and review accurate run prototypes and production paperwork, including job reports
- Develop and maintain detailed documents such as non-conforming material reports, deviations, change requests, and quality control forms
- Collect and record product samples during production runs for testing and retention
- Store and track label inventory, and manage label usage
- Take water samples for in-house laboratory analysis
- Conduct finished goods testing for Specific Gravity, pH, and Viscosity
- Ensure proper status labeling of all in-process and finished goods
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and document/report any quality issues
- Comply with safety and quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform additional tasks assigned by Management for company improvement
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Documents
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and awareness of every facet of production
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read fine print
- Proficiency in operating basic office equipment (phones, copy machines, and fax machines)
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods (more than 8 hours a day)
- Ability to work in conditions with minimal exposure to physical risks and moderate exposure to unusual elements
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated salary: $36,000 - $48,000 per year
- Shift: 7AM-3:30PM +/- .5 hours
- Pay rate: $18.00/ hour + depending on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package available after 90 days, including paid holidays and paid time off
