Compensation for Quality Assurance Inspector
- The hourly wage for this role is $28.00.
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) plan with company matching is available for full-time employees after one year of service.
Quality Assurance Inspector Key Highlights
- The preferred availability for this position is Monday or Saturday - Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
· Assisting with measurement techniques and methods (training & troubleshooting).
· Conducting measurements and compiling documentation.
· Working with minimal supervision.
· Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and calibration of all inspection tools.
· Understanding of product and manufacturing processes.
· Interpreting blueprints and specifications.
· Marking all components according to the correct identification system.
· Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in parts and inspection areas.
· Presenting data in spreadsheets for analysis.
· Communicating with relevant departments and mold technicians when issues arise.
Other Responsibilities:
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Adhering to all local, state, federal, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Following local quality policies and procedures through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principles.
· Performing additional job-related duties as assigned.
· Observing all safety, environmental, and quality system standards.

Quality Assurance Inspector Requirements
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical school experience is preferred.
Experience:
· Basic computer skills are required, with experience using spreadsheets and SAP systems preferred. Blueprint reading skills are also preferred.
Requirements:
· Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. Proficiency in basic mathematical operations (i.e., multiplication and division), including proper use of decimals. Knowledge of formulated mathematics and metric conversion is required. Strong interpersonal skills, good problem-solving abilities, and follow-up skills are essential. The associate must be able to work with minimal direction.
Equipment Use:
· Requires the ability to set up and use various precision measuring equipment as needed. Must be able to operate a computer with a standard keyboard and a standard calculator.
Physical Requirements:
Level 3
· Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly.
