We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team at the American Veterinary Group. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and client service in a fast-paced animal hospital environment.
Job Summary- Assist Veterinarians with animal examinations and treatments
- Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies
- Communicate with clients and update patient files
- Patient Care: Assist veterinarians with examinations, restrain animals when necessary, and provide basic care
- Surgical Support: Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies, ensure equipment is in working order
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with pet owners, update patient files
- Experience in customer service or veterinary support role
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, work flexible hours, including weekends
- Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
