Langan is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in leveraging software programming skills to develop advanced technological solutions, overseeing the complete software development lifecycle for assigned projects. You will collaborate with team members on various projects, fostering a continuous learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with team members and management to identify application development needs, new software solutions, or enhancements to existing systems;
  • Design, construct, support, and test reusable components to develop intricate systems;
  • Produce organized and efficient front-end code that operates seamlessly across different platforms and browsers;
  • Analyze, design, implement, and modify desktop applications and websites to meet business requirements and promote code reuse;
  • Define project scope and recommend efficient and cost-effective programming solutions;
  • Integrate software with SQL databases, present solutions to client groups, and participate in code evaluations;
  • Mentor junior developers as necessary;
  • Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle practices using Waterfall methodology;
  • Provide expertise to system users, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for improvement;
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and identify applicable uses within the firm;
  • Manage multiple project timelines concurrently;
  • Maintain communication with the project team throughout all design phases;
  • Contribute insights on development solutions; and
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
  • 6+ years of experience in object-oriented programming with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and LinQ;
  • Proficiency in designing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to enhance operational efficiencies;
  • Capability to develop and support software integrations between complex enterprise systems, utilizing JavaScript, XML, jQuery, AJAX, and .NET frameworks;
  • Experience in full-stack development and mobile application development is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with SAP cloud development (Fiori, UI5, BTP) is a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities;
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
