Job Title: Lead MAUI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead MAUI Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA Group Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of mobile applications using the MAUI framework.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 2-3 developers and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform written performance reviews for team members and hold regular one-on-one meetings to discuss progress and goals.
  • Design and implement MAUI applications independently, adhering to defined architecture and coding standards.
  • Provide input to the architecture and ensure that all team members understand different architectural views.
  • Review code to ensure that it meets the Definition of Done, coding standards, and good design principles.
  • Operate as a full-stack developer with expertise in new and legacy architecture styles.
  • Develop talent at all levels of developer and set an example of a professional developer.
  • Coach and teach usage of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Architectural Patterns.
  • Establish development environment setup for the team from scratch.
  • Create new hosting and deployment environments from scratch, or work with engineering in their creation.
  • Establish new Continuous Integration, integrate with SCM, and set up builds.
  • Guide the team in developing estimates and communicate with the client on new features and scope changes.
  • Define technical approach, lead the team in implementing it, and design features independently.
  • Deliver complex components and define and manage tools and processes for the team.
  • Mentor team members on methodology use and interview junior and mid-level candidates for the team.
  • Proactively raise and solve issues with clients and have experience with SQL and stored procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of professional experience developing in C#.
  • 3+ years of experience in Xamarin development.
  • 5+ years of experience working with.NET technologies, including at least one of the following: Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, or MAUI.
  • 3+ years of experience with JSON, XAML/XML, and Web Services.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Databases.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Azure, including at least one of these technologies: Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Identity, AD, AKS, AzDO, and APIM.
  • 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, NodeJS, and/or other related front-end web technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with unit testing.
  • 2+ years of experience in creating new hosting and deployment environments from scratch, working knowledge of containers and virtualization.
  • 1+ year of experience working with the Agile methodology/SCRUM process.
  • 1+ year of experience with other mobile development languages, such as Swift, Objective C, JavaScript.
Preferred Skills:
  • Highly proficient in implementing and consuming SOAP or REST services.
  • Advanced debugging and troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Expert database programming skills.
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Design and Development (SOLID principles).
  • In-depth understanding of Server operating systems and Cloud hosting models, and strong ability to establish new Continuous Integration, integrate with SCM, and set up builds.
  • Strong experience with the Agile methodology and the SCRUM process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior team leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline desired.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this role is $80 to $85.

Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
