Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at the Novelis Oswego Manufacturing Facility. As a key member of our Finance and Accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing various plant-based finance functions, including operating expenses, and bridging individual manufacturing units' reporting and plant-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including month-end activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial analysts, providing training, performance management, and growth and development opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with plant leadership and regional office personnel to drive operational improvements and cost savings.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a financial business partner to the Central Maintenance and Admin & Support functions, providing analytical support and guidance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, excellent organizational and project management skills, and strong analytical skills in business performance metrics.
